At the start of any project, developers should call 972-230-9622 to be put on the Development Review Committee’s meeting agenda. The Zoning Commission is represented at these meetings, which are held every Thursday morning (business permitting).

Specific planning and zoning case items that have already been reviewed by the Development Review Committee will go before the Planning and Zoning Commission. DeSoto’s seven-member commission meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
